A Horrifying Crash on Black Road: Four Lives Hang in the Balance
In a devastating incident that has shaken the community, a multi-vehicle crash on Black Road last night has left four individuals fighting for their lives. Among the victims were two young children, an infant, and a two-year-old, highlighting the tragic consequences of this accident.
Sault Police have confirmed that all four individuals rushed to the hospital suffered life-threatening injuries. The crash, which occurred around 7:10 p.m., involved three vehicles that collided, while three others narrowly avoided the initial crash and ended up in nearby snowbanks.
According to police, a speeding van on Black Road crossed into the oncoming lane, resulting in a head-on collision with an SUV. The impact was catastrophic, and the SUV was then hit by another SUV traveling behind it. The 43-year-old driver of the van was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
The passengers in the first SUV, a 38-year-old driver, a two-year-old child, and an infant, also suffered life-threatening injuries and were rushed to the hospital. Fortunately, the drivers of the other vehicles involved in the crash did not sustain serious physical harm.
