The storyline follows Trish, who, after enduring a devastating personal loss, seeks to uplift her best friend Maddie by whisking her away on an extraordinary journey to a secluded lagoon located halfway across the globe. Unfortunately, what begins as a serene escape quickly transforms into a harrowing struggle for survival when the ocean’s most formidable predator emerges, hungry for retribution after spending years in captivity.
Directed by Jo-Anne Brechin, known for Designing Christmas With You, the screenplay is co-penned by the talented Katharine E. McPhee. The cast features notable performances from Virginia Gardner, recognized for her role in Halloween 2018, alongside Mel Jarnson and Mitchell Hopestar.
