Dodgers Spring Training 2026: Workout Dates, Schedule, and What to Expect (2026)

The excitement for Major League Baseball is building as teams gear up for Spring Training, especially following the Seattle Seahawks' thrilling victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX, and with the NBA All-Star break just around the corner. All eyes are now shifting towards the MLB, where various teams are preparing to kick off their Spring Training sessions.

Spring Training camps, located in both the Cactus League and Grapefruit League, are set to officially open this week, starting with the Arizona Diamondbacks and Atlanta Braves, who will hold their initial workouts for pitchers and catchers on Tuesday.

Among the 30 MLB teams, the Los Angeles Dodgers have the latest commencement date for their training, with their first official workout for pitchers and catchers scheduled for Friday, February 13. However, it's worth noting that several Dodgers players, including high-profile names like Shohei Ohtani, Brusdar Graterol, Andy Pages, and Blake Snell, have already made their way to Camelback Ranch, a trend that has become increasingly common among the team's seasoned veterans.

Following their initial workouts, the Dodgers will host their first full-squad practice on Tuesday, February 17. It’s also important to mention that for those Dodgers players—and others from different teams—who will participate in the upcoming World Baseball Classic, there is an earlier reporting date to adhere to. Pitchers and catchers involved in the 2026 WBC must arrive at their respective team camps by no later than Wednesday, February 11, while position players are required to report by Thursday.

Fans can look forward to experiencing Dodgers Photo Day on Thursday, February 19, providing an exciting opportunity to engage with the team.

For fans eager to get a glimpse of the action, daily Dodgers Spring Training workouts at Camelback Ranch are open to the public free of charge, making it an accessible event for all.

As for the Dodgers’ Spring Training schedule in 2026, it officially kicks off on Saturday, February 21, when they face off against the Los Angeles Angels at Tempe Diablo Stadium. The following day, they will hit the road to take on the San Diego Padres.

The Dodgers will then have their Cactus League home opener against the Seattle Mariners on February 23. In total, the Dodgers are slated to compete in 28 games throughout the Cactus League this spring, with an additional exhibition match against Team Mexico scheduled for March 4.

Included in the Dodgers' Spring Training itinerary are two split-squad games: one against the Texas Rangers on February 28 and another versus the Chicago Cubs on March 15. Importantly, the only days designated as off days during this Spring Training period are March 11 and March 19.

While SportsNet LA has yet to reveal its broadcast plans for the Spring Training season, viewers can anticipate that a majority of the games will be televised live. Additionally, several of these broadcasts are expected to be aired on AM 570 L.A. Sports Radio.
